Greenpeace protest brings Cargill to a halt.
The UK headquarters of Cargill were brought to a standstill this morning, 22nd May, when a Greenpeace activist chained herself to the front gate.
This action restricted access to the building and was further exacerbated when a van deposited a full load of soya on the driveway.
Greenpeace were trying to highlight their claims that Cargill, like many multinationals, were involved in activity which harmed the Amazonian Rainforest.
