We often fear that wildlife is dying out as our society takes away the green belt.

There was a small glimmer of hope this week when Brooklands Museum, Walton on Thames,  was visited by a South African Hoopoe.  Whilst these birds are sometimes seen in western Europe they are very rare in this country.
